Yes. DonateMate is free for donors.
It can. Many donors give more than they end up claiming because their records are scattered. DonateMate keeps every gift and receipt, checks what counts, and builds the report you file with. Starting in 2026, cash gifts count for up to $1,000 ($2,000 filing jointly), even if you take the standard deduction.
DonateMate tracks your deductible total all year and builds your report when you need it. Itemizers get a donation records PDF, a spreadsheet of every gift, a TXF file that imports into TurboTax, and a ZIP of every receipt. Standard-deduction filers get the PDF. Send the files to your accountant, or upload them straight into TurboTax or whatever tax software you use.
Type it in, forward the receipt email, take a photo of the receipt, or upload files such as appraisals and Form 8283s. The app reads each document and fills in the donation.
DonateMate checks each gift against IRS rules, such as whether the charity is registered and whether you have the right receipt. Gifts that qualify are marked Deductible and count toward your tax total.
Nobody but you, until you say otherwise. Every donation and goal is private by default. When you add one, you choose to keep it private, share it with your followers, or make it public, and amounts are optional even when you share.
